Whatever your printer using for long time and long time didn't use. Your printer will need to do a cleaning process for a time period (almost monthly). For original ink cartridge, when u change the cartridge, the printer will do a cleaning process each time.

If your printer have install MiSS or CiSS, you no need to change the cartridge always, so the printer will never do cleaning process by itself. Doing the cleaning process manual is a need.

below is the procedure for doing the cleaning process:

1. Press start menu, click on control panel button.
2. Click on printer and faxes.
3. Right click on your printer icon (like iP1880, MP198) and choose properties

4. Choose maintenance tab
5. Click deep cleaning and press exclude button, confirm deep cleaning by click ok button.
6. After deep cleaning, please do a nozzle check to ensure the print nozzle in good condition.

7. The printing should print as picture a.
8. If you get result in picture B, please do cleaning 2 or 3 time more.
9. If the printing still same as picture b, please take to service!
