Resetter Program for Samsung Laser Printer
After Your Printer Print around 2000pages, your computer smart panel it gives message TONER EXAUSTED, this because the toner is finish and need to be change. Samsung Original Toner Catridge will have a chipset to let in continue printer. Our toner Doesn't come with chip, so we need to solve this situation by using a little program.
This is the Program for Upgrade and Downgrade firmware. Please do it carefull.
Do this process at your own risk. Maxprint will not be any resposibble to your printer failure.
For Printer ML1640

1. Download and extrack the file.
2. Please make sure your printer is on and no extra USB device connect to your computer.
3. In the folder Samsung-ML-1640-reset-simple, press on downl1640.bat. (DO NOT turn off or disconnect the printer/computer during this process)
4. After that the MSDOS(Black windows) will ask you to press anything to continue, please do so.
5. The MSDOS will close and wait minimum 10 seconds then turn off your printer.
6. Then wait another 10 seconds before turning your printer back on
Your printer will continue print again !.
For Printer ML2240

1. Download and extrack the file.
2. Please make sure your printer is on and no extra USB device connect to your computer.
3. In the folder Samsung-ML-2240-reset-simple, press on downl2240.bat. (DO NOT turn off or disconnect the printer/computer during this process)
4. After that the MSDOS(Black windows) will ask you to press anything to continue, please do so.
5. The MSDOS will close and wait minimum 10 seconds then turn off your printer.
6. Then wait another 10 seconds before turning your printer back on
Your printer will continue print again !.
IF your Printer cannot upgrade the new firmware, Please follow the procedure below. Otherwise if your printer ok! Please dont continue to below procedure
Warning ! Please Do Not continue the process below if your printer is in good condition!
1. Trun off your printer.
2. Start your computer.
3. Push the orange button, and keep pushing.
4. Then turn on your printer (with the button on the back of the printer). BUT YOU HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING THE ORANGE BUTTON!
5. Then the LEDs start blinking (5-15 sec later), you can release the orange button.
6. You can repeat the firmware installing procedure.
BUT IF YOU DO THE UPDATE AGAIN THE WRONG WAY THEN IT WON’T WORK! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!
